Gifted Pathway

Enrichment – Choose this if you feel you need something more to challenge you and help you grow. Enrichment offers opportunities like the World Scholar’s Cup, Beacon Gifted Cup, Destination Imagination, coaching, workshops, and collaborative projects designed to spark curiosity and expand horizons.
Academic Acceleration – Choose this if you are working well above your age level and need access to more advanced work. Academic acceleration provides early access to higher-level curriculum topics, fast-track preparation for exams, and opportunities to move ahead in learning rather than repeating content already mastered.
Learning Extension – Choose this if you want to deepen your understanding of subjects you already enjoy. Learning extension gives you challenging assignments, independent study modules, and project-based opportunities that allow you to explore topics in greater depth and make meaningful connections across disciplines.

At Lighthouse Academy, we recognise exceptional talent through a student’s performance, creativity, and achievement across fields such as Creative Arts, Performing Arts, Digital Arts & Media, Leadership & Innovation, and Communication & Public Speaking. Students applying to the Talented Pathway are encouraged to upload a portfolio of evidence showcasing their abilities, which may include performance recordings, artwork or design samples, certificates or awards, links to digital projects or publications, or teacher recommendations.
