Lighthouse Debate League Rules
- Each match follows British Parliamentary or Public Forum format (as assigned by the league moderator).
- Debaters may challenge any player ranked up to 3 positions above them on the ladder.
- Winning a match moves the challenger up to the loser’s position; the loser drops one rank.
- Match results must be submitted by both players and verified by a moderator.
- Each debate is judged on content, style, and strategy. The moderator’s decision is final.
- In case of a draw, both players receive 2 points.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct or no-shows may result in a warning or removal from the ladder.
